Fish planet did not run steam9/2/2023 ![]() ![]() Power generators can be built anywhere on the map and will count toward your total available power. In order to build and run your terraformation machines, you must create generators for power. Other tech items can be unlocked in each category according to their statistic, so you must balance what you are doing to gain access to all items. The primary tech tree unlocks as you increase your Terraformation Index. ![]() You do this by building machines that increase primary statistics of Oxygen, Heat, Pressure, and later Biomass in the form of Plants, Insects and eventually Animals. Your goal is to increase the Terraformation Index score and accomplish the various intermediary stages of planetary development. Terraforming or Terraformation is the hypothetical process of deliberately modifying the atmosphere, temperature, surface topography or ecology of a planet, moon, or other body to be similar to the environment of Earth to make it habitable by Earth-like life. You are dropped alone on a planet that you must terraform. I've always interepreted it as the fish getting too tired to run away, but not tired enough for my rod to pull straight in.The game’s premise is simple. I think if it was a glitch, the fish would be either immoble, or it would eventually 'wake up' and take off again. Once again, similar to how you might try to fight a big fish up away from the bottom. So, like Satanist said, you have to lift the rod a little and drop it and reel before the fish can take the line back. It seems to only happen to me when I'm using gear that's close to the weight of the fish or lighter. The reason I'm not sure it's a bug is cause it's not an unsolvable problem. ![]() For a while though, it was hugging the bottom and my rod just didn't have enough power to get it off. I started with my reel at about 30% and I managed to pull it in when the reel was down to 2%. I fought a laker on super light gear the other day for half an hour. ![]() It gives them a lot more room to play with, down where you have less control over them. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not, fighting big fish in deep water is usually more difficult in reality. This statement makes your post totally irrelevant. There is NO kayak fishing at Alaska location. Originally posted by Satanist. At Alaska when fishing in a kayak, I've had a lot of times where the fish is 30-50 feet from the boat and I cannot get it any closer unless I pump the rod up and down. ![]()
